Also I'd note that, although his curve was excellent and down in the zone (even in the dirt fairly often), the fastball sat higher it seemed. <br /><br />Unfortunately the radar gun was not quite functional at the stadium, so I couldn't tell you about his velocity. I don't know if that describes his fastball in general or if it was just a particularly tough night for May. He describes his other pitches, curveball, changeup, and slider as being solid to above average last night.
