Remembe...What a difference a few years make, right? Remember when the Twins needed offense and felt the need to deal from their organizational strength... starting pitching? That led to the Matt Garza for Delmon Young trade. That's also about the time the Twins started using their top draft pick every year on outfielders. No surprise then that the organization's pitching went in to the tank. <br /><br />People fret over the possibility that Blanton or Joe Saunders might be TR's "big" free agent signing this season. Frankly, after last year when re-signing Pavano and adding Marquis were his big pitching signings, Blanton and Saunders look pretty good to me, by comparison.<br /><br />Oh... and thanks for the kind words and link to Knuckleballs! We are obviously thinking quite a bit alike at the moment. I really do hope we're both just being unnecessarily pessimistic.
